Wycombe Abbey Celebrate New School Opening in Bangkok

We are delighted to celebrate the opening of Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok, which has welcomed its founding pupils and begun its first academic year in Thailand.

Led by Founding Headteacher, Ms Fiona Angel, the new school brings the Wycombe Abbey educational approach to Thailand, combining the School’s academic heritage with a global outlook. In the lead-up to opening, the Bangkok campus has built strong links across the education, business and healthcare sectors, including a Memorandum of Understanding with Land and Houses PCL and engagement with organisations such as the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand and AMCHAM Thailand.

The School offers a rigorous British curriculum pathway, including IGCSEs and A Levels, alongside a rich programme of sport, performing arts, STEAM and leadership opportunities.

The opening marks the latest step in Wycombe Abbey’s growing international presence, extending its educational offer to families in Thailand. As its first academic year begins, the focus is on building a strong school community and delivering an education rooted in the traditions and ethos of Wycombe Abbey, where every child is encouraged to excel.

We are thrilled to welcome our founding pupils and families and look forward to an inspiring and memorable first year together.
