Global Success Among Early University Applications.

Wycombe Abbey’s UVI pupils are demonstrating exceptional ambition and global outlook in this year’s university application cycle, with an impressive 260 overseas applications submitted so far, and they have already begun receiving exciting offers from around the world.
Pupils have successfully secured places at prestigious institutions such as Bocconi in Italy, IE University in Madrid, McGill University and University of Toronto in Canada, the University of Sydney and Monash University in Australia, as well as an offer to read Medicine at Hong Kong University. Several pupils have been recognised with academic scholarships, including one who has been awarded a fully-funded offer – a remarkable achievement! We now eagerly await further decisions from universities including those in France, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
Outstanding US University Accomplishments
This year, 25 pupils have been diligently applying to study in the United States. Early decisions have already brought extraordinary results, including offers from some of the world’s most competitive and selective institutions.
Pupils have received early admission to study at:
- Dartmouth (Biomedical Science)
- Princeton University (Engineering and Chinese)
- Santa Clara University
- Stanford University (Mathematics and Classics)
- Tulane University
- University of Chicago (2 offers – Philosophy and Economics)
- University of Colorado Boulder
- University of Denver
- University of Michigan
- University of San Diego
- Yale University (2 offers – Linguistics / Global Affairs, and Classics)
Looking Ahead
We anticipate additional early application outcomes between now and early February as universities continue to release decisions. With a further 160 applications submitted to top US institutions in the Regular Decision cycle, we look forward to celebrating many more exceptional results in March and April.
