Wycombe Abbey Sports Day 2023

There was great excitement on Monday as we held our annual Sports Day. The sun was shining down on what was a fantastic day of sporting achievement with plenty of House spirit on show.
All the girls took part, competing in a variety of track and field events including 300m, 1500m, hurdles, high jump, relays and javelin. The girls made lots of noise cheering each other along with House colours, banners and face paint in abundance which added to the fun.
In the Junior age category, Pitt House came out on top with Campbell seeing glory in the Intermediate category and for the Seniors, Butler shone through. The final overall winners were Butler House taking home the Sports Day trophy for 2023.
The Victrix Lodurum Cup is awarded to the best athlete on the day, they were:
- Junior: Flo (LIV) and Anissa (LIV)
- Intermediate: Jasmine (LV) and Monique (UIV)
- Senior: Liza (LVI)
The Spingman Cup for most improved athlete over the season went to Flo (LIV) and the ever-coveted Relay Cup winners saw Butler come away as winners with Barry in second and Campbell in third.
