Wycombe Abbey Kicks Off the Year with a Fun-Filled Closed Weekend

Last weekend, pupils celebrated their return to School with the first Closed Weekend of the academic year.

The programme featured a wide range of activities designed to combine energy, creativity and teamwork. Pupils bounced across inflatables, rolled and raced in zorbing challenges, and put their wits to the test in a Cryptic Clue Chase that encouraged problem-solving and collaboration. Creativity was also at the heart of the weekend, with pupils decorating Jenga blocks and then using them in friendly competitions that had everyone laughing, cheering, and showing off their imaginative designs.

The weekend concluded with a relaxed picnic lunch on the School grounds, giving everyone a chance to savour the sunny weather and reflect on the shared experiences that had brought the community closer together.

Six pupils sat under a tree.

With such a lively and engaging start to the academic year, Wycombe Abbey pupils are stepping into the term full of energy, enthusiasm and a strong sense of camaraderie, ready to embrace the opportunities ahead.
