Seniors and Pupils Connect at Law Networking Evening
30 September 2026 - Seniors

On 15 September, we brought together alumnae working in law and current pupils from the Wycombe Abbey Law Society for a unique evening of connection and networking. The event gave pupils an invaluable opportunity to hear first-hand about different routes into the legal profession, ask questions and begin building relationships with Seniors as they consider their own future career paths. Just as importantly, it provided an opportunity for Seniors to meet and connect with one another, strengthening the professional networks within the Wycombe Abbey community.

We are incredibly grateful to Alex McGurk (Wendover, 1999) and Natasha Stourton (Owen, Rubens, 2001) for sharing their career journeys so candidly and for engaging so thoughtfully with the girls during the question-and-answer session. Charlotte Colthurst (Campbell, 2008) generously hosted the event at the spectacular offices of Bird & Bird which helped to demonstrate the excitement and impact of working at an international law firm.

Events such as this are an important part of extending the value of a Wycombe Abbey education beyond pupils’ time at School. They create connections between generations of Wycombe Abbey women, helping today’s pupils explore the possibilities ahead of them while giving Seniors meaningful opportunities to share their experience and build relationships with one another.
