Oxford MUN Conference

16 pupils travelled to Oxford to take part in the Oxford Global MUN Conference. The girls were lucky to take part in debates and listen to talks in the Oxford University buildings which provided a rich historical setting. Over the course of the weekend, we represented various countries in a range of committees, including Legal and the Commission for the Status of Women, debating current global issues from abortion to the #MeToo movement, working with pupils from across the world. The conference culminated in a closing ceremony in the Sheldonian Theatre where we received four prizes for: Best Delegate in Legal – Mani LVI, Outstanding Delegates – Vanessa, Vanessa UV and Izzy LVI. It was a fantastic weekend which was thoroughly enjoyed by all and a great way to prepare for the upcoming MUN trip to New York!

Following the UK Government’s announcement on Monday 4 January, the School site is now closed to visitors, and pupils are being taught remotely. Please do get in touch with us by phone or email via the link here.
