This year, Dove Day, named after our founder Dame Frances Dove, will take place on Saturday 21 June here at Wycombe Abbey. This is an opportunity for all members of our community to spend the day together, enjoying the grounds and sampling a variety of activities and events. See the highlights from Dove Day 2022 below.
The day’s activities begin with our Dove Day Chapel service, which is followed by displays, exhibitions, and performances including the ever-popular Dog Show. This year, we are extremely excited to announce the return of our inter-house raft racing competition; pupils from each House will build their raft and then go head-to-head to race to victory on the water.
After the morning events, families are invited to bring their own picnic and join us for lunch in the House marquees while listening to our concert band. Junior House families will join their Senior House marquee and we are delighted to be hosting a Clarence House marquee for our UVI Leavers and their families. During the lunch period, we will be holding our very competitive House tug of war competition and sibling races for our younger guests.
The day concludes with afternoon tea and our 2025 Review Show on the main stage, featuring highlights of our pupil performances from across the 2024-25 School year.
