Independent Schools Medical Lecture Cup

On the 7 November, prospective medics from three schools, Radley College, Wycombe Abbey and Harrow School, came together for an evening of excellent presentations from six pupils. Talks covered a wide range of topics, ranging from genetic testing to next generation medical technology. One of Wycombe Abbey’s pupils gave the winning presentation on tranexamic acid, which has saved countless lives, particularly for those undergoing post-partum haemorrhage. The quality of all the presentations was impressive and were very much enjoyed by the panel of expert judges. Congratulations to our pupils for bringing the cup back to Wycombe Abbey.
