UVI Pupil Climbs the International Tennis Rankings After Strong Performances in Taiwan.

Following her impressive results in Singapore and Macau earlier this year, UVI pupil, Imogen, continued her international tennis journey during Long Leave, competing in two Junior ITF tournaments in Taiwan (J30 and J60).

She reached the final 16 in both tournaments, facing tough draws against top-seeded players. In the first event, Imogen lost to the number three seed, who went on to win the tournament. In the second, she delivered a strong performance against the number one seed, currently ranked 327 in the world, who also claimed the title.

Impressively, Imogen has achieved this progress after losing the opportunity to compete for almost two years following a ski accident. Her determination to catch up and excel is truly inspiring.

Following her success in Taiwan, Imogen’s international ranking has surged by 1,000 places, moving her up to 2,700. This is a fantastic milestone in her tennis career.

Congratulations to Imogen on this incredible achievement. We look forward to celebrating more of her successes!
