Global University Destinations – 2025 Highlights

We are delighted to share the outstanding achievements of our pupils in this year’s US university application cycle. A total of 23 pupils applied to institutions in the United States, with 13 officially taking up places next year. Their destinations include an exciting array of universities across the country, such as Columbia University, the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Swarthmore College, New York University, Northwestern University, the University of California Berkeley, University California Los Angeles and the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Excitingly, three of our pupils will be studying at Duke University next year and another two at the University of Chicago, a remarkable accomplishment!
In total, Wycombe Abbey pupils submitted over 190 applications to more than 60 different universities across the US, reflecting both their ambition and the breadth of geographical and academic interests. This year also marked a significant milestone in global interest, with more pupils than ever before applying to universities outside the US and UK. Applications were submitted to institutions in Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Singapore, South Korea, Spain and Switzerland, showcasing the truly international mindset of Wycombe Abbey girls.
We are incredibly proud of all our pupils and their bold steps toward a global future. Their hard work, determination and vision continue to inspire us all.
