Fourth Form Play: Wendy and Peter

In June, pupils from LIV and UIV took part in the Fourth Form Play: Wendy and Peter. This play is based on the well-known novel Peter Pan. Throughout the play, you follow the Darling children’s struggles to find their lost brother and experience all the magic of Neverland. Upon arriving in Neverland the characters face multiple challenges such as the battles between the Pirates, Darling Children and the Lost Boys. There was so much to love about this show, from ongoing love stories to the realistic flying, the whole cast’s energy and commitment allowed even the most difficult scenes to look flawless.

The addition of bubbles showed a lively environment which portrays the excitement of the Lost Boys. The clever change in ambience suggests a new environment every time a change of scene occurs, really adding to the magic and fantasy of the play. In the play, bringing the addition of the Darling children in Neverland portrays the image that Captain Hook thinks he has got his chance to kill Peter, as Hook assumes Wendy is Peter’s girlfriend.

Overall, we think that everyone would agree that this was a fun and eye-opening experience full of laughter and making new friends. Thank you to the Drama Department, especially to Miss Jones for directing us.
