Cassandra Excels at British Showjumping National Championship

Cassandra (LVI) had an exceptional summer at the British Showjumping National Championships, proudly representing Wycombe Abbey with skill, determination and remarkable composure under pressure. Read Cassandra’s summary of this exciting experience below.
I had an amazing experience at the British Showjumping Nationals Championships. In the Just for Schools 1.10m Final, which I qualified for in May, both of my horses jumped clear in the first round to go through to the jump off. It was a competitive class, so I was very pleased when my first horse jumped clear with a fast time to place second. My second horse completed the jump-off with the fastest time, but we knocked the last pole, costing us first place; we still finished seventh. We also achieved several other great results, with the highlight of the week being a third-place finish in another national championship final, competing against riders of all ages.
