A Medal-Winning Summer for Annabelle in the Pool
21 August 2025 - All

It has been a summer to remember for rising swimming star Annabelle (LVI), who has made waves both internationally and nationally with a string of impressive performances.

Annabelle began her summer by representing Great Britain at the European Junior Swimming Championships in Slovakia. Competing against elite athletes from across Europe, she played a key role in securing two relay medals for Team GB: a silver and a bronze.

Her success did not stop there. Returning to the UK, Annabelle competed in the British Summer Championships, where she once again demonstrated her talent and determination. Racing in the highly competitive 17/18 age group, she earned an additional three individual medals, two silvers and one bronze. She was also part of the 4x200m relay team that won bronze.

Capping off her remarkable summer, Annabelle has also earned a place on the prestigious Youth Performance Squad for the third consecutive year. The squad represents the top tier of the national junior pathway, bringing together the most promising swimmers from across the UK and providing them with elite-level training and development opportunities.
Annabelle’s continued progress is a testament to her dedication to the sport, and we are incredibly proud of all she has achieved. We look forward to seeing her build on this experience as she continues to grow in her swimming career.
