Annual Seniors Lacrosse Match Welcomes Back Alumnae Community

Last Sunday, we were delighted to welcome back Seniors and their families for the return of the much‑loved annual Seniors Lacrosse Match.
It was a wonderful chance to reconnect, enjoy some early spring sunshine and reminisce over past tournaments and fixtures during a relaxed brunch, before heading out to the pitches for what became an incredibly close and exciting game. The Seniors took a strong lead in the first half, but the School team rallied in the final minutes to secure a thrilling 7–6 victory.
This is very much a community event for everyone. We welcomed Seniors who relished the chance to be back on the pitch after many years away and just as many who simply enjoyed watching and cheering from the sidelines.
Younger guests also had the chance to join a lively lacrosse skills session led by the Sports Department, ensuring that everyone who was keen had the opportunity to pick up a stick and get involved.
After the match, families made their way to Fisher Library for tea, tours of the School and an engaging talk from Sophie Bryett‑Windle, Director of Sport, who spoke about the current sporting curriculum and our Performance Athlete Programme.
