Wycombe Abbey is pleased to announce that Senior Amelie Czekalowska (Barry, 2023) has been commissioned as an Officer in the Royal Logistic Corps following the successful completion of two years of intensive training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. This accomplishment is a testament to Amelie’s dedication, resilience, and leadership throughout a demanding and rigorous programme.

Fellow Seniors Harriat Bishop (Airlie, 2023) and Phoebe Richardson (Shelburne, 2023) were present at the Commissioning Parade to support Amelie and to mark this important milestone in her career. Both spoke of their joy in sharing such a significant occasion, highlighting how the strong connections formed at Wycombe Abbey continue to thrive well beyond the School’s gates.

In line with the School’s ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful relationships between alumnae and current pupils, Amelie has actively supported pupils interested in pursuing military careers, generously sharing her experiences and offering guidance. Her insights have proven invaluable to those considering similar paths.

We extend our warm congratulations to Amelie as she embarks on her new role in the Royal Logistic Corps and wish her every success in the years ahead.
