The 2024 Imaginarium, the annual collection of artworks from our Wycombe Abbey schools is live.
The 2023-2024 Wycombe Abbey Schools online art exhibition highlights a vibrant collaboration among the five Wycombe Abbey schools: Wycombe Abbey in the UK, Wycombe Abbey School Hong Kong, Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou, Wycombe Abbey School Nanjing, and Wycombe Abbey School Hangzhou. Each institution showcases the artistic talents of its pupils, reflecting a rich tapestry of creativity and diverse artistic expressions.
At Wycombe Abbey in the UK, pupils from all year groups have presented 140 pieces using various media, including printmaking, textiles, and acrylic painting. Notable highlights include the UIV fashion designers’ deconstructed shirt catwalk and the GCSE and A level pupils’ explorations in oil painting, glass art, and set design. Their artistic journeys emphasise personal growth and the pursuit of creative excellence.
Pupils from Wycombe Abbey School Hong Kong demonstrated impressive creativity through artworks developed in lessons focused on printmaking, string art, and paper mâché, alongside engaging workshops. Wycombe Abbey School Hangzhou presents a captivating exhibition showcasing a myriad of artistic styles and themes. Similarly, Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou and Wycombe Abbey School Nanjing feature diverse artworks that invite viewers to explore the limitless possibilities of artistic expression.
