Harry Potter Day

On Sunday 20th November the school hosted its annual Harry Potter themed day for all pupils. Big School was decorated with Wycombe Abbey and Harry Potter themed bunting, Azkaban posters, and cardboard cut-outs of the famed characters from the books. Big School’s grand fireplace had real-life floating letters created from fish wire. Activities consisted of pottery painting, wand making, terrarium potting and scavenger hunting. A stall was set up for pupils to create the iconic drink from the films, ‘Butter beer’ and they thoroughly enjoyed mixing a range of fizzy pop to concoct a delicious treat. All years had a fantastic day watching the Harry Potter movies on the projector screen, followed by wizarding themed cookie decorating.
