GlastonAbbey 2026: A Night to Remember!

On the last Sunday of the Summer Term, we held our highly anticipated annual music festival, GlastonAbbey – and this year’s show was truly one of the best yet. The evening featured incredible performances from bands, soloists, and even a surprise dance from the prefect team.

The night began with an introduction from the Head Girl Team, followed by our LVI band ‘Daddy Longlegs’, who opened the show with energy and confidence. In total, seven bands performed, spanning multiple year groups. Each band had worked to perfect their sets and stage presence, making their performances exceptional. We even had three debut bands this year – including one from UIII!

Alongside the bands, we enjoyed stunning solo performances from singers across UIII to LVI, covering a range of genres and languages. Every soloist put in immense effort from auditions to the final performance, and the response from the crowd made it all worth it.

Halfway through the evening, the Head Girl Team and the prefects surprised everyone with a dance that absolutely stole the show – their enthusiasm and talent lit up the stage.

Throughout the night, we had music ranging from 1970s classics like ‘Rasputin’ to present-day hits, and even some original songs. The atmosphere was electric, full of excitement, talent, and school spirit. It was truly a night to remember.

We are so proud of everyone who performed for all their hard work, dedication, and exceptional performances. A huge thank you to Miss McClure, the tech team and everyone else behind the scenes who helped organise and supported the event – GlastonAbbey would not have been the same without you.
