The Rebel Romantic: Nelly Wins Prestigious Essay Prize

We are delighted that Nelly (LVI) has won Cambridge University’s prestigious Fitzwilliam College Essay Prize. Nelly’s essay, submitted in the History category, is about Stanislaw Wyspianski’s unique contribution to shaping Polish national identity in the absence of political expression. Nelly won £200 and will attend the prize-giving ceremony at the college in the summer. This is a stunning achievement in a highly competitive field – well done!
