Athletics Success

Congratulations to our Junior and Intermediate Athletics Teams who both qualified for the English Schools Athletic Association (ESAA) national finals this year.

This is the first time in the School’s history that both teams have reached this level, beating more than 2500 teams from well over 800 schools in the qualifying rounds.

On the day of the finals the girls performed exceptionally with the Juniors finishing in 8th place and the Intermediate team in 5th place. This is our best ever national result for athletics and the we are incredibly proud of all the girls who competed at such a high level.

Congratulations also to Temi, who won the English Schools High Jump Competition with a stunning personal best of 1.77m.
