The Modern Languages Department at Wycombe Abbey is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher of Chinese for one-to-one lessons, with the ability to teach to A level. Previous experience of GCSE and A level exam requirements would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be teaching up to five days per week. This is a post for a Mandarin specialist, however some knowledge of Cantonese would be desirable.

Wycombe Abbey consistently achieves amongst the best public examination results in the country with 97.4% of GCSE results and 85.3% of A Level results being graded A*-A in 2016.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, experienced and able administrator to provide an efficient and pro-active administrative service to the Director of Music, Visiting Music Teachers and pupils.

The Music Department Administrator will play a key role in the day-to-day administration for the team. This includes maintenance of the Music School database, overseeing the music instrument storage facility, preparation of termly billing information for music lessons, overseeing records of pupil attendance and assisting with the organisation of major school concerts and trips.

The successful applicant will possess excellent IT skills, the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, excellent customer service skills and an eye for detail.
