We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and able graduate to teach Science, particularly Chemistry, throughout the school. This post would suit an NQT or a more experienced applicant.

The School has fantastic dedicated Science facilities with spacious and well-equipped laboratories.  The Sciences are extremely popular at A level and a large number of girls go on to study Science-related courses at university.

Wycombe Abbey has its own salary scale which is well above that of the maintained sector. Accommodation may be available.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic English specialist to lead a flourishing, key department. The successful applicant will be expected to shape the vision of the department so that it continues to adapt and develop in the changing educational environment. The School aims to promote a love of literature in all girls and many go on to study English at top universities. The department runs a wide range of extra-curricular activities for girls including many theatre trips. A literary tour of the US is planned in Autumn 2019.

Head of English - Applicant Details

Application Form for Academic Staff 2018

Wycombe Abbey is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and inspiring Dance Teacher.

Applicants will be ISTD DDE qualified and able to teach Tap and Modern lessons consisting of both group and individual girls aged 11-18 across various grades of the ISTD syllabus of modern and tap.

Full knowledge of the New Intermediate Tap grade and the Jazz Medals are also required as well as working knowledge of Advanced 1 Modern. Performance choreography skills would be an advantage.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team of teachers at a well-established boarding school with a competitive rate of pay. Teaching requirements of the role are initially for one day a week but this may increase in the future.

Application Form for Academic Staff 2018

This is an exciting time for a dynamic, creative DT Technician to join the team and get involved in moving DT forward, both as a subject in its own right and as a vital component of the STEM vision within this world class school.

Working alongside the Head of DT and Director of STEM, you will develop initiatives to inspire and challenge the pupils to be imaginative, ambitious and creative problem-solvers whilst contributing towards the efficient and smooth running of the department.

You will possess relevant experience along with a genuine interest and knowledge of latest trends and developments within STEM. A willingness to get involved in other departmental projects, such as sustainability and the Greenpower car, would be desirable.

Hours of work: 8:00 to 17:30 Monday-Friday during term time plus two weeks per annum during School Holidays. You may be required to work occasional Saturdays and attend school open days for which time off in lieu will be given.

Salary: Dependent on experience
