Wycombe Abbey is a world-renowned independent girls’ boarding school in the heart of High Wycombe.
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with a degree in Media Studies or someone with experience in providing behind the scenes theatre support, to work in a forward-thinking and high-achieving boarding school. You will be required to provide technical audio-visual support for the Music Department in order to enhance teaching and to assist students to run sound productions.
The successful applicant will have additional duties as a Resident Tutor and will be attached to a specific House as an important member of the House pastoral team under the guidance of the Housemistress. Duties will include assisting with wake-ups and bedtimes, organising activities, attending House parties and outings. Please note that evening and weekend work will be required.
Salary: £13,000 (paid over 10 months) and accommodation and meals

This is a unique opportunity to become part of the School’s Communications Team. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Development, you will help to develop internal and external communications and build the School’s brand. Working on digital platforms, social media and printed materials, you will work to achieve key strategic aims.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and copywriting skills, a keen eye for detail and an understanding of how to communicate with a variety of stakeholders. The successful applicant will be innovative, motivated and confident in taking initiative. Editorial and design experience would be beneficial, alongside familiarity with managing social media accounts and content management systems.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
