Virtual Open Day Success

Wycombe Abbey hosted nearly two thousand visitors to its Online Open Day broadcast last Saturday. Along with a drone tour of the 170-acre site and 56 pieces of content on the Experience page that showcased all the departments (even the beekeeping society!), there were six live presentations with question and answer sessions, featuring staff and pupils.

The Director of Admissions, Sophie Langdale writes: ‘This was new territory for Wycombe Abbey; our first-ever online event, and a format we would like to build on and to refine. We were so pleased with the volume of interesting questions we fielded from families from all over the world, and we had the additional benefit of reducing significantly our carbon footprint.’

The live presentations included: A Welcome from the Headmistress, The Head Girl Team, Pastoral, Sixth Form, Co-curricular, and Enriching Curriculum. The view of our visitors can be seen below.
