This is a fascinating opportunity to lead the further international development of Wycombe Abbey.
We have an established international presence and are now ready to embark on a significant new phase of development. This new role will suit an experienced professional who can combine excellent business development capabilities with the experience to work with the Board of Wycombe Abbey International Limited to devise a long-term International Strategy and the expertise to support the School’s existing international partnership.
The Director of International will have a wide remit. Wycombe Abbey has four international schools in China and Hong Kong that have proven it can successfully operate overseas in a way that aligns fully with the UK School’s ethos and traditions and strengthens its reputation and global reach. The challenge now is to build an International Strategy that can enable the School to establish a truly global presence and become known for a consistently high-quality, Wycombe Abbey education wherever it is located. The Director of International will contribute to this as well as exploring and following up new commercial opportunities, markets and partnerships and supporting the existing partnership.
It is likely that the successful candidate will have had success in a similar role, in a school or an international group, have experience of new school development in other international contexts or come from a related field with experience that is readily transferable into a school setting.
