Keeping our Community Safe

Wycombe Abbey is working hard to minimise the risk of Covid-19 to our community. In preparation for return, we have recognised the need to adapt and change some aspects of our lives at School. By working together, we have been able to return in as safe a manner as possible.

Over the summer, our team worked tirelessly to implement the following additions:

2500 signs

250 hand sanitiser units

23 automatic hand sanitising units

3 marquees

6 catering locations

600 chairs

20 trestle tables and a further 200 chairs

13 new hand-held thermometers

100 new lockers

4 mobile wash units for visitors

140 pedal bins

The above is a snippet of the many changes visible around School. Thank you to our Estates, Custodians, Grounds, Domestics, Sport Centre, Porters and Pandemic Response Team for all of your hard work to keep our community safe.

Following the UK Government’s announcement on Monday 4 January, the School site is now closed to visitors, and pupils are being taught remotely. Please do get in touch with us by phone or email via the link here.
