Wycombe Abbey is seeking to employ a dynamic and enthusiastic Visiting Netball Coach to deliver training sessions to girls aged 11-18. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 coaching qualification, be a competent umpire and have experience of coaching good School/Club level players.

Wycombe Abbey enjoys exceptional sporting facilities including a 6 lane 25m swimming pool, a state-of-the-art sports centre, 5 lacrosse pitches, a large floodlit Astroturf pitch, sixteen netball courts and twenty tennis courts.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team of teachers at a well-established boarding school with a competitive rate of pay.

Hours: 6 hours per week during term time
Mondays: 17:15 – 18:30
Tuesdays: 17:15 – 18:30
Wednesdays: 16:15 – 18:30
Thursdays: 17:15 – 18:30

Visiting Coach - Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and able applicant to join the team across two of our Senior boarding houses (Campbell & Airlie) working with around 90 girls aged 12-17.  This is an important role within our pastoral team, working closely with the Housemistresses and Assistant Housemistresses to create a welcoming, supportive, encouraging and cheerful environment for our girls.

The successful candidate must have previous experience working with young people, a strong commitment to the boarding ethos, warmth, enthusiasm and excellent communication and organisational skills.

This is a full-time residential role and the post-holder is therefore required to be resident within the boarding house during term time as well as before and after the beginning and end of terms in order to ensure the efficient preparation and running of the Houses.

Resident Matron - Job Description

Application Form - Support Staff

We are seeking enthusiastic and able applicants to join the team in a boarding house working with girls aged 12-17.  This is an important support role within our pastoral teams, working under the direction of the Housemistress and Assistant Housemistress to create a welcoming, supportive, encouraging and cheerful environment for our girls.

The successful candidates will ideally have previous experience working with young people, a positive “can-do” attitude, a practical approach, warmth, enthusiasm and strong communication and organisational skills.

Duties will include providing a welcoming presence within the house, routine tasks such as laundry and organisation of supplies and deliveries, house administration tasks, ensuring that the house is tidy and any other duties to assist the house team.

Hours:
We are looking to cover a range of hours within the boarding houses, during term time, with a job share approach for the right applicants. When applying, please confirm the hours you are able to work from the below:
Mondays: 07:00 – 23:00
Wednesdays: 16:00 – 23:00
Fridays: 16:00 – 23:00
Saturdays 08:00 – 12:00 and 15:30 – 23:00
Sundays: 08:00 – 15.00

We are seeking reliable, enthusiastic and able applicants to provide cover in boarding houses working with around 60 girls aged 11-18.  This is an important support role within our pastoral teams, working under the direction of the Housemistress and Assistant Housemistress to create a welcoming, supportive, encouraging and cheerful environment for our girls.

The successful candidates will ideally have previous experience working with young people, a positive “can-do” attitude, a practical approach, warmth, enthusiasm and strong communication and organisational skills.

Applicants must be willing to be called upon, usually at short notice, to provide cover across any of the Boarding Houses. The hours will predominantly be afternoons, evenings and weekends.
