VI Form Lectures

To prepare them for university and the world outside of Wycombe Abbey, students in the Sixth Form enjoy weekly lectures from distinguished guests on a variety of cultural, social, political, ethical and economic matters during the Autumn and Spring terms. These lectures assist in broadening horizons and extending and developing each girl's knowledge outside the normal learning environment, and our students enjoy the opportunity to network with influential people from a variety of different professional industries. Recent guests to Wycombe have included Andrew Dilnot CBE, Economist and Broadcaster, Baroness Susan Greenfield CBE, Neuroscientist, Sir Andrew Motion, former Poet Laureate, and Nina Wadia, star of Eastenders and Goodness Gracious Me.
