First Wycombe Abbey Online Chess Tournament

Many of us have been captivated by the television series ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ which depicts the rise of Beth Harmon, a genius chess-player who sweeps all before her in this male-dominated world.

On Sunday 22 November, we will attempt to find our very own Beth Harmon, in our first Wycombe Abbey online chess tournament! Girls from all years will play a series of rapid games against each other, and the player with the most points at the end will be crowned winner.

For those who just want to watch, games will be live-streamed on the Chess Club Team with online commentary provided by Mr Startup and Mr Wildgoose.
