Future Ready Fair

Despite the current restrictions to normal life caused by Coronavirus, Wycombe Abbey’s annual Future Ready Fair went ahead last week. All LVI pupils and their parents were invited to attend and there were also tickets reserved from pupils at nine local secondary schools. In total, nearly one hundred young people took part.

Hosted in The Courtyard Café and Big School, a variety of organisations featured what they have to offer, providing pupils with a taster of the opportunities available to them after A-levels including university, degree apprenticeships and options to consider if taking a gap year.

Organisations who took part included: Bath, Exeter, St Andrews, UCL and Warwick Universities, Art History Abroad, Culsans Gap Travel and Ski le Gap, Projects Abroad, Teach Gambia Ltd and GVI Outreach UK.

Planning for the Fair next year is already underway!

Following the UK Government’s announcement on Monday 4 January, the School site is now closed to visitors, and pupils are being taught remotely. Please do get in touch with us by phone or email via the link here.
