Wycombe Abbey’s Academic Forum

Wycombe Abbey’s annual Academic Forum recently gave girls in the Upper Sixth the chance to reflect on their studies beyond the confines of exam specifications.

The event provided an opportunity to explore some of the most current and challenging debates surrounding the academic discipline that they hope to pursue at university.

Divided into more than twenty-five different subject groups, pupils enjoyed the opportunity to engage with their academic passion at a higher level.

The girls were joined by sixth formers from the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe for the event.

The conference offered a good opportunity to reflect on their chosen academic disciplines as they apply for the next step and prepare for university interviews.

There was also the chance for more informal discussion over a buffet dinner.
