The UIII and LIV teams were out in force again at the District Athetics Championships held at Handy Cross Sports Stadium, High Wycombe. In the UIII Team the field events were dominated by Gabby, Dorabella and Sophie who came first in the Discus, Javelin and Shot. The LIV girls proved hard to beat with Issy winning the 800m, Eloise the 1500m, Adiba the 100m, Tobi the Long Jump and High Jump and Sadhbha the Hudles and High Jump. Many other Athletes coming 2nd or 3rd in many more events and as a result both teams were crowned District Champions with Tobi and Sadhbha sharing the Victrix Ludorum. It was a wonderful end to the Athletics season and should present quite a spectacle on Dove Day when many of these girls will be representing their Houses.
