Geography Trip to the USA

Over Long Leave, the Geography department took a group of eleven girls to explore the stunning human and physical landscapes of Nevada, Utah and Arizona in the USA. After spending a day (and plenty of money shopping) in Las Vegas being enthralled by the sights and sounds of The Strip, the group travelled over 1000 miles visiting some of the most stunning landscapes of the world. Highlights included the sandstone cliffs of Zion Canyon, the remarkable hoodoos of Bryce Canyon, the awe inspiring Horseshoe Bend, and the almost unfathomable scale of the Grand Canyon.
