1st XII Lacrosse rise to the challenge against Oxford University
Wycombe's First XII Lacrosse squad defeated last year's National Schools' finalists, Guildford High, before capping off an excellent day with another victory against a fresh Stowe team. Of the six matches against Guildford, four finished with only one goal separating the teams, providing some excellent competition for both schools.
Whilst the senior squads were busy at home, our U12 and U13 A squads competed in the Midlands' Schools tournament. Both teams performed extremely well and were deserved semi-finalists. The U12 and U14 squads who travelled to Downe House alsohad some very tight matches with Anne and Cynthia being awarded Players of the Match (POM).
POMs for the other nine squads playing were: Polly, Jacqui, Natasha, Ellie, Georgie, Lily, Georgia, Halcyon, Natalie, Eleanor, Elly, Natasha, Mistry, Claire, Eleanor, Tilly, Issy and India. Congratulations girls!
