Wycombe Abbey exam success continues

Celebrations at Wycombe Abbey continue this week following the announcement of outstanding GCSE exam results.

95.23% of all grades were A*-A (grade 7-9) and 83.27% received A* or grade 8-9.

A new grading system was introduced this year with numbers now replacing letters. According to the Joint Council for Qualifications, 20.5% of entries were graded 7 to 9, while just 4.3% of entries were awarded a 9.

Headmistress, Rhiannon Wilkinson, said, “Well done to all of our girls on their excellent results. We are really proud of you. Thank you also to our parents, and our teachers and staff who provide our girls with a holistic environment where their learning and development are able to flourish.”
