Clarence girls celebrate excellent 2018 A level examinations results

The Wycombe Abbey community today joins the Clarence girls in celebrating another year of exceptional A level examination success.

This year’s UVI girls achieved an excellent set of A level results, with 84% of all entries graded A*-A. Our leavers will all go on to study subjects as diverse as Architecture, Economics and Biomedical Sciences at Oxbridge and Russell Group universities in the UK and an increasing number of universities in the US, such as Yale, USC and UPenn. 28 girls have accepted places at Oxford and Cambridge this year.

Headmistress, Rhiannon Wilkinson, said, “These excellent results are a direct result of the girls’ hard work, the support of their parents, our inspirational and dedicated staff, and this unique environment where all thrive. We believe boarding really does make all the difference. To live, work and learn together as a community means that learning is reinforced and part of the joy of community life. We are, and will continue to be, extremely proud of all our girls. Congratulations, Clarence leavers!”
