Trips & Expeditions
Trips and expeditions are not just part of the weekend programme at Wycombe, but are an integral component of our academic curriculum and are an effective tool used to consolidate our students' learning experience. Every year Wycombe girls embark on trips around the world, such as trekking in Sinai, skiing in Whistler or speaking German in Koblenz. They may stay closer to home and explore the sights that the UK has to offer. Favourite adventures in recent years have been the Classics tour to Greece, a Geography trip to Iceland, the History of Art tour to Italy, visits to London theatres and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions to the Lake District.
Socially, our girls enjoy the opportunity to ‘get away' from School at the weekends, with regular outings on offer including visits to museums and galleries, outdoor pursuits such as horse riding, Laserquest and ice skating, shopping adventures to Westfield, and dinners, socials and balls with other schools - with visits to, and from, the boys' schools always the most popular!
