Management Conference

To help prepare our girls for life after Wycombe, each year we host a Lower Sixth Management Conference, in conjunction with the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe (a local state grammar school for boys). The one and a half day event involves equal numbers of boys and girls working in ‘market' groups under the guidance of a mentor. The mentors, who are drawn from the world of finance, commerce and industry, guide their group as they compete in an exciting business game designed to replicate the types of issues and choices faced by managers of today.

During the conference, students are addressed by a range of prestigious speakers who draw on anecdotal experiences and share their insight into what it means to be a manager. The conference provides all involved with a valuable insight into the world of business and sees many of the students taking their first steps towards a career in the world of business.
