The curriculum for the first three years at Wycombe Abbey is:

   English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French, Latin,Geography, History, Religious Studies, Information Technology, Design Technology, Art, Music, Drama, Physical Education and PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education).

      Cookery, Singing and Spanish form part of the eleven years olds' curriculum.  Cookery continues for a further year, while Textiles and Singing are offered as hobbies.

      The twelve year old girls either continue with Spanish or take up German or Classical Greek. 

      Girls entering the School at 12+ who have not studied Latin before they come to Wycombe Abbey are not required to start it.

The Wycombe Abbey core curriculum for Fifth Form girls who are working towards their GCSE examinations comprises:

      English, English Literature, Mathematics, a modern foreign language and the three Sciences - Physics, Chemistry and Biology - studied either as three separate Sciences or as a combined course leading to the Double Science Award.

      The subjects from which students currently select their GCSE options include Religious Studies, History, Geography, French, German, Spanish, Latin, Greek, Applied ICT, Design Technology, Art, Drama, Music and Physical Education.

      Every student, in addition, attends Physical Education lessons and a general course that covers a variety of areas, including careers education and citizenship.

Students in the Sixth Form currently select their AS and A2 subjects from the following:

      Art and Design, Biology, Chemistry, Classical Civilisation, Design Technology, Drama and Theatre Studies, Economics, English Literature, French, Geography, German, Government and Political Studies, Greek, History, History of Art, Latin, Mathematics and Further Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Physics, Religious Studies and Spanish.

     All Sixth Formers pursue a sport, undertake a community service placement, and attend the Sixth Form lecture programme.  Most follow an IT course which enables them to take the European Computer Driving Licence.  All are taught Critical Thinking in the Lower Sixth.
