Wycombe Abbey School - Gymnastics Team

On Sunday October 15th Wycombe Abbey School hosted the 15th Trinity Shield Gymnastics Competition, which is an invitational contest early in the academic year to give many gymnasts the experience of competing. Over 200 participants aged 7 - 18 years performed on the floor and vault, from 6 schools around the country.

In the Under 19 section Harriet Blackmore (UIII) won the Floor competition with a score of 9.50. This is an outstanding achievement for such a young member of the team. Harriet Clough (Clarence) won the Vault competition also with a score of 9.50, and the overall individual title. The Wycombe Abbey Team were place =1st in the Under 19 age group, with Alice Ottley from Worcester.It was wonderful to have so many supporters at the event and we are grateful to the girls who helped to run the competitor so smoothly.
