Our U14 Netball Squad performed superbly in the County Round of the National Schools' Netball Tournament. The team played exceptionally well with Tobi, Sadhbha and Lucy P intercepting and marking so tightly in defence that the opposition found it difficult to get the ball into their circle. The shooters were also on form with Katya (Captain), Kate and Lottie sinking the ball into the net at every opportunity. The Centre Court players were not to be outdone with Molly holding the fort as centre and India, Emily, Lucy W, Eleanor and Tilly bringing the ball down the court with apparent ease and intercepting passes when the opposition had possession. The team were unbeaten winning five of their games and drawing one. It was all down to goal average in the end with Wycombe narrowly missing out on 1st place. As runners up our team will now represent Buckinghamshire at the Southern Regional Round of the Competition to be held in January. Congratulations and thank you to the whole squad for playing so brilliantly.
